Correct seat selection starts with the machine and existing installation.

The machine make and model, existing seat identification, mounting arrangement, available cab space, suspension type and electrical supply can all influence suitability. Operator weight range, suspension travel and required functions such as seat belts or operator presence switches may also need to be established.

For larger construction equipment, suspension and seat-top combinations can vary substantially.
